We saw the whole of the Moon

Last night we decided to close our shop a little early – 10:30 instead of 11pm, our very short tourist season is winding down and Doka and I decided to go out for dinner, together just the two of us.  There are so many restaurants in Korcula and our friends at Korcula Explorer had recommended a few places we should try.  (www.korculaexplorer.com – for all your Korcula accommodation and holiday activity needs)

Unfortunately we were too late for most kitchens, as the tourist season is winding down here restaurants are closing earlier and earlier.

While we didn’t get a nice meal out (we are going to close earlier tonight!!), we saw the whole of the moon.  I am still filled with the awe of it.  It was a very clear night here in Korcula and our local astronomy group had their telescope set up beside the nightclub Gaudi.  There were several people using the opportunity to look at the moon super close.  The telescope offered such clear images of the moon.

Doka and I chatted with group members for a while and walked away talking about how nice it would be to one day own a fabulous telescope for night sky gazing.

We had some fries for dinner at Curiso, and fed Fergus a midnight snack on the way home, it was a very nice evening.

Have you ever had the chance to see the moon so close?  Would love to hear about your experience.

Take a look at Meow

I have just realised the last post about Fergus needs some updating, I have been adding photos to our Seba Dizajn facebook page but not here…

Breakfast time

I am VERY happy to report that Fergus is looking good, he is a friendly young cat so if you are in Korcula stop by and say hello to him – he’s the cute one eyed one!

Freedom!

Finally, what you’ve been waiting for photos of  Fergus – sorry my photography skills aren’t very good but now at least you can see the wee moggy I’ve been writing about..

A pre-release Fergus, not looking very happy with me!

This photo was taken about 9:30am this morning, Fergus ran straight for the communcal strays water bowl and then away (away from me) under a door into one of the old town ruins.

This afternoon I found him sleeping under a table and lured him out with some whiskas, am happy to report that he came out and munched before slinking back under the table.

So, it would seem that Seba Dizajn has adopted a stray – thanks Hilary!!

I will do my best to fatten Fergus up and hope to share some glossy coated, well loved kitty photos with you later in the summer.
If you would like to keep track of Fergus’s progress follow us on facebook.

Next blog must be about Filigree!!

Just one more night….

Have just returned from the vet and it seems Fergus is having a bonus spa night, he is still a bit groggy from his op, not ideal to return him to his old haunt in grogged up state.

I will collect him at 9am and take some photos then.

In the mean time what has any of this to do with Filigree?  I feel the balls theme may be revisited – Fergus has just lost his balls and Adolf has just made some beautiful new ones.  Baby balls at Seba Dizajn…

have a look on our facebook page to check out Brand New – New Design (Seba Dizajn) Balls

A sneaky peek below for ball fanciers, head to

Under the knife

So it seems young Fergus is having an extended stay at the kitty spa – at least that’s how I think of it in my mind, air conditioning, food, peace, massage.  I have just come back from the vet and Fergus was stretched out on the table (sedated) looking very peaceful. Vet with knife in hand, glad I turned up when I did – no desire to see him (or anyone else being sliced).

I am to collect and release Fergus this afternoon, I promise to remember my camera, load some photos and let you know how he’s doing.

Meow and out
